WorKshops

The aim of Claire’s workshops is to bring the magical and exciting world of music to children in a fun and relaxed, yet up-beat environment. A maximum of six children in any one workshop provides for a combination of individual attention and focussed group interaction.  Complete beginners are as welcome as those with experience.  All of the workshops bring laughter and fun, and the children come back year after year. 

Music Workshop activities include singing, observing rhythms, playing percussion instruments in a group, reading  music, notation, composition, aural exercises and listening skills, in-depth study of an orchestral piece and/or instruments of the orchestra, composition, flash cards, musical games and individual &/or group performance.

In all workshops, refreshments are provided.  In some workshops Claire will be supported by an older student.
